Position: Junior Sales Representative – Custom Store Fixtures

Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Sales Representative to join our client’s team, selling custom store fixtures and retail furniture to retail brands. This entry-level role is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for sales and an interest in the retail and visual merchandising industry. You’ll support senior sales team members while building your own book of business and learning the ins and outs of custom fixture solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support & Business Development:
- Assist in identifying potential new clients and managing a lead generation pipeline.
- Support senior sales representatives in preparing proposals, presentations, and client materials.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to gain exposure and build relationships with prospective clients.
Client Relationship Building:
- Shadow senior sales reps to learn the consultative sales process and help identify client needs.
- Develop a basic understanding of each client’s brand and in-store goals to offer creative and customized fixture solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build strong client relationships and gain repeat business.
Project Coordination:
- Partner with internal design and production teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Help track project progress and ensure that client requirements are met, including assisting with order processing and follow-ups.
Market & Product Knowledge Development:
- Gain a deep understanding of custom store fixture products, materials, and production processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and retail market needs.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, retail, or a related field (internships or sales assistant roles are considered).
- Interest in or knowledge of the retail or visual merchandising industry is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; relevant work experience may be considered.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to client meetings, site visits, and industry events as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
